Over 15 years leading consumer and enterprise products, I've learned that the difference between a design team that earns influence and one that doesn't usually comes down to foundations: discovery practices, cross-functional operating models, and a clear connection between design work and outcomes the business actually cares about.

I love planting a flag in the future to help my team see where we could be, then getting pragmatic about how to step toward that vision, learning and adjusting along the way. I'm currently VP of Design at Everfi, leading the team responsible for designing education's missing learning layer.
