Design judgment, properly embedded, changes how an organization makes decisions — not just what it ships. Most organizations underinvest in the conditions that make that possible: the discovery practices, operating models, and career frameworks that let design do its best work regardless of who’s in the room or what the market is doing. Those foundations are what I love building, and what I’ve spent 15+ years figuring out how to do well.
The through-line across my work is that the best design outcomes aren’t produced by heroics — they’re produced by teams that have the foundation to do their best work consistently. I’ve seen what happens when that foundation is missing, and what becomes possible when it’s there. The results show up in business metrics, but also in people metrics: teams that are genuinely excited about the work, and equipped to grow. Right now I’m VP of Design at Everfi, leading a multidisciplinary team building financial education experiences for 6.5M learners and 1,000+ financial institutions across the US and Canada.
